Kristi Newman - Founder/CEO
Kristi, the visionary founder of Silverfox Equestrian Club, brings over 35 years of esteemed experience in the equestrian world. As a certified coach with a passion for personal development, she combines her expertise in dressage and life strategy to empower riders both in the arena and beyond. Kristi’s dedication to fostering confidence and leadership through equestrian empowerment has made her a respected leader and mentor in the equestrian community.
Marianne Loughlin - Head Coach
Marianne brings over 30 years of experience as an Equestrian Canada Competition Coach Specialist in Dressage to Silverfox Equestrian Club. Her unique blend of expertise and her anthropology background enables her to provide a holistic coaching approach that fosters resilience and confidence. Marianne's commitment to developing strong rider-horse bonds creates lasting growth for riders under her guidance.
Heather Yeo - Barn Manager/Coach
Heather draws on over two decades of diverse equestrian experience to inspire and nurture riders of all ages at Silverfox Equestrian Club. Evan Wheatle - Weekend Manager
Evan Wheatle is the dedicated weekend barn manager at Silverfox Equestrian Club, overseeing the well-being of 40+ horses and ensuring smooth operations during busy lesson schedules. His role requires agility and proactive problem-solving, as he manages daily care routines and supports both staff and clients. Evan's commitment to the mental and physical health of the horses, along with his attention to safety and detail, makes him an invaluable part of our team.
Sandra Austin - Stable NRG Executive Director (Volunteer)
Sandra, our volunteer Executive Director at Stable NRG, blends her passion for horses with extensive experience in strategic leadership. As the Executive Director of Strategic Initiatives for the Region of Durham, she oversees climate action and community engagement. Sandra's dedication to inclusivity and resilience helps guide Stable NRG's mission to expand horseback riding access to underserved communities.
Ciara Tonno - Assistant Trainer
Ciara, our dedicated Assistant Trainer, has been nurturing her passion for riding over the past 22 years. Specializing in working with young horses, she excels in building their confidence through individualized, progressive training methods. Ciara's commitment to positive reinforcement ensures that each horse's unique personality and potential are nurtured to their fullest.
